We got our first cocker in 1994. He was a black and
tan boy named Magruder. Magruder was not a show
dog, although we were told that we should show him
and try to finish him as a puppy. That comment led us
to talk to a handler and meet fanciers, and is how we
became interested in showing cockers. Magruder is the
reason we fell in love with this breed.
Our first show cocker was a red and white boy named Higgins. Currently we are only showing blacks, and black and tans.
We only breed occasionally, when we want another puppy to show. |
